**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of shipments using heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Manage warehouse distribution activities, including order picking, shipping, and receiving operations
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Oversee the movement of materials within the yard, including construction materials if applicable
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and tracking
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or injury
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Supervise yard activities to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes, reporting any maintenance needs

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related logistics roles
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in a construction or warehouse setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and record keeping
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities
- Experience working with order picking systems and managing warehouse workflows is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
