**Plastics Welding/CNC Operator**

This position sets up, operates, and maintains plastic welders & computerized CNC table router equipment. In this department, custom plastic liners for the dump truck industry are made.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience operating CNC equipment, able to make tool changes, small program changes, read blueprints, diagrams, etc.
- Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions, directions
- Ability to operate handheld tools - saws, routers, measuring equipment - tape measures
- Have a quality and detail focus
- Mechanically inclined
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure/deadlines
- Above average attendance
- Good communication skills
- Physically able to lift, push, pull, stand on a concrete floor, kneel, crawl, grip, pinch, crouch
- Valid forklift license or experience - experience with long / extension forks

**Shifts**:
Permanent, Full Time Position
- Monday to Friday
- 8.5-hour shifts
- Days/Afternoons, rotating every 2 weeks
- Will go to 12-hour continental rotation of days and nights, 7 - 7, 4-week rotation, averaging agreement in place, 84 hours biweekly

**Rate of Pay**

Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $19.14 - $24.82

- Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- CNC: 3 years (preferred)
- Welding: 1 year (preferred)
