CNC Machinist

**CNC Machinist - Orangeville, ON**

**Shifts**
- Permanent, Full Time Position
- Monday to Friday
- 8.5-hour shifts
- Days/Afternoons, rotating every 2 weeks

**Salary information**:$20-$25.82 per hour **(Salary is commensurate with experience) plus productivity based monthly bonuses, attendance draws, safety draws**

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate a router operation (to make large, welded liners for the transportation industry)
- Ability to use CNC equipment to cut, trim, slot, chamber, profile, shape material
- The operator will pull up programs, make minor adjustments to programs, install machine accessories like pins, cutting tools, templates, spoil boards
- Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions and directions
- Ability to operate handheld tools & measuring equipment
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deadline
- Ability to work cohesively in a team-based environment

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical skills
- Good visual/color vision and eye/hand coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills
- Above average attendance
- Previous experience operating CNC equipment, able to read blueprints/diagrams
- Excellent computer and math skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to safely operator forklift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.82 per hour
