**Reporting to the Department Chair, the position will include the following responsibilities**:

- Teach business analytics courses (8 sections) to undergraduate and graduate students, with a focus on introductory business statistics
- Prepare course syllabi, course materials, midterm exams, final exams and assign grades
- Evaluate student performance progress and provide appropriate and timely feedback according to department protocols
- Teach lab sessions to provide students with hands on experience with software products
- Remain abreast with relevant literature in business analytics as it applies to their teaching resources and activities
- Provide help sessions to undergraduate and graduate students on business analytics fundamentals
- Participate in department activities including advising student clubs and coaching students for case competitions
- Develop curriculum and material for new business analytics courses

**Qualifications**
- A graduate degree (PhD) in a discipline that is relevant to business analytics, such as statistics, econometrics, operations research, operations management, industrial engineering, or computer science
- Demonstrated introductory statistics teaching excellence at the post-secondary level
- Applicants must have expert knowledge in business analytics software such as Python, R, SAS, and Tableau
- Experience supervising undergraduate and graduate students will be considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Facilitation, negotiation and problem solving skills and an ability to handle challenging student situations
