**QUALIFICATIONS**: - University degree related to Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related health care field - 3-5 years' experience in a Human Resources generalist role or experience in attendance management is preferred - Knowledge of attendance management programs, practise and related issues is preferred - Demonstrated ability in analyzing data and providing guidance and support to management and senior leadership in regards to attendance and ability management - Knowledge of employment related legislation and current employment practices - Experience working in a multi-unionized environment is preferred - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective presentation skills, proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with a strong work ethic - Proficient computer skills including advanced ability with Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel - Ability to manage multiple competing priorities - Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership, judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills - Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team - Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision - Must be a team player - Consistent and regular attendance - In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the Ontario Human Rights Code, Niagara Health will provide accommodations through the recruitment process to applicants with disabilities.
