**Job Purpose**

**Customer Service Manager Role & Responsibilities**:

- Delivering a comprehensive service to enquiring customers
- Provide information about products and services
- Entering sales orders, type up reports, respond to customer concerns and process returns
- Managing customers’ accounts
- Keeping a record of customer interaction and details of actions taken
- Communicating with internal team to discuss sales targets
- Generating sales leads, building sustainable relationships where necessary
- Reporting back on results
- Conduct performances reviews and provide an ongoing feedback and guidance, to coach for peak performances and /or develop action plans for improvements
- Measure KPI for the department
- Hold monthly team meetings with other departments to keep the team updated on various issues
- Manage month end close activities, confirming all warehouse are billed, noting accruals as needed
- Act as first level of escalation to resolve urgent customer issues
- Monitor service level efficiencies in all VMI locations and identify opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency levels
- Effectively communicate and coordinate internal workflow among all internal customers
- Focus on improving communication between sales (US and Canadian), operations, planning, and logistics for an improved customer service experience
- Improve or establish standards department policies and procedures, intended to ensure order accuracy

**Job Qualifications and Requirements**
- Overall knowledge of customer service in a manufacturing environment required
- 5+ years’ experience in customer service and 2+ years supervisory experience
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to translate skills to other employees through training/mentoring
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to others with understanding and empathy
- Oracle experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to maintain calm under pressure
- Ability to Problem solve
- Advanced Microsoft office skills

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
