Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Server at our vibrant Indian restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests while showcasing the rich flavors and warm hospitality of Indian cuisine. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient service, resulting in their utmost satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:
Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.

Assist guests in selecting food and beverages, providing recommendations based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.

Take accurate food and drink orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests.

Monitor tables and ensure guests have everything they need throughout their dining experience, such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, and replacing utensils.

Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth flow of service.

Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with professionalism.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting up tables, arranging decorations, and ensuring a tidy environment.

Follow all safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food and adherence to health regulations.

Stay knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.

Assist in training and mentoring new servers when necessary.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic math skills to process payments and handle cash transactions.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cultural customs is a plus.

Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays when necessary.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
