Vertuu Design Inc is seeking an energetic and highly motivated person to help build our wholesale brand of Home Furnishings throughout North America.
**ROLE**
Working from our South Surrey Head Office location, this person will be responsible for developing new business and servicing our existing client base of Furniture, Home Decor retailers and Interior designers throughout N. America. Cultivating and maintaining solid business relationships is essential. The opening is ideally suited for a highly motivated person, who will confidently interact with our clients and business prospects to maximize growth potential.
This position is full time, based in South Surrey, B.C. and requires travel within the USA and Canada for up to 10 days at least 4 times per year.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Build a strategy to succeed: Involvement in planning new and innovative programs to increase Vertuu visibility in the market.
- Relating customized sales programs to meet specific customers needs.
- Generating new leads through telephone calls and a trade shows attendance.
- assisting with quotes, referring new customers, and obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information.
- Processing orders, freight quotes & shipping documentation.
- Provide input on current market trends and customer feedback to creative department to assist with new product development.
- Attend Domestic and international trade-shows as required, including setup/tear down.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- University/college degree preferred
- A current and valid passport, with the ability to travel to trade shows multiple times per year.
- At least 2 year in wholesale B2B sales.
- Motivated, Intelligent, Positive and Passionate about success.
- Strong work ethic with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Physically fit and capable of handling products in showroom and warehouse.
- Takes initiative, a good team player, but able to work independently when necessary.
- Technologically inclined; familiar with excel, word, and CRM software.
- Ability to type min. 40 words per minute
- Passion for Home Furnishing and/or Interior Design.
- Bi-lingual in English and French-Canadian an asset

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
