We have an exciting opportunity fora Junior Legal Assistant / Receptionist to perform junior legal administrative tasks as well as general office administrative duties including reception for our southside location. Exceptional customer service is required in all interactions in a positive and professional manner. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with junior-level legal administrative tasks in various practice areas
- Respond to internal and external inquiries professionally
- Perform general office duties: data entry, photocopying/scanning, file organization
- Support front desk operations: greeting clients, answering calls, managing bookings
- Set up meeting rooms, including making coffee or arranging food delivery where needed
- Assist with basic accounting data entry into firm software
- Maintain office, kitchen, and supply areas and ordering office and kitchen supplies as required
- Occasionally run errands, such as nearby bank trips (e.g., for real estate deals)
- Occasionally assist in promotional or marketing activities
- Other administrative and support tasks as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of or enrollment in a Legal Administrative Assistant program preferred
- Previous law firm experience is helpful but not required
- Access to a reliable vehicle preferred for occasional bank runs to banks near office
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with accounting software an asset
- Friendly, helpful attitude with strong communication and client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Organized, punctual, and able to manage multiple small tasks
- Comfortable with routine office housekeeping, including shared space upkeep
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct
