- Must have own means of transportation (country setting with no bus route)
- Is attentive to resident and family concerns and requests and redirects when appropriate
- TB Test required
- Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Screening
- Maintains a safe and clean environment as well as practices proper body mechanics especially relating to transferring, lifting and positioning of residents
- Follow all policies and procedures of the home as well as Resident's Care Plans
- Must be available Weekdays and every other weekend
- Assist with all activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility and feeding
- Sorts and does laundry
- Makes and changes beds and linens
- Cleans and tidies clients home or resident room
- Supports client's independence regarding medications(medication reminders)
- Recognizes and reports changes in a client's behaviour/condition
- Provides client stimulation such as doing puzzles, colouring, going for walks, watching TV, listening to music and photo album and reading.
