**Carfair Composites - Winnipeg** **Roofline Trimmer (Grinder/Trimmer)**

**Multiple Shifts Available**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Cut the surface of fiberglass parts evenly and squarely.
- Sand or grind parts to a uniform thickness.
- Follow verbal instructions on techniques and tools for finishing parts.
- Trim, drill, use routers, sand, and grind fiberglass parts and surfaces.
- Use jigs and fixtures to mark parts for trimming and machining.
- Support and adhere to all Lean and 5S initiatives for workplace organization and efficiency.
- Perform daily maintenance on assigned tools and equipment.
- Read blueprints and finish parts according to specified dimensions.
- Document non-conformities on Corrective & Preventative Action reports (CAPAR).
- Perform other duties as required.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Prior experience in composite manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with hand tools (pneumatic, electric, manual).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with mínimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
