Grinder position is responsible for using hand tools to cut through rough edges, along with precision cutting of fiberglass parts.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Ability to cut evenly & squarely to the surface of a fiberglass part.
- Ability to sand or grind to a uniform thickness.
- Ability to use all air and power tools which are used to trim, drill, router, sand and grind fiberglass parts and/or surfaces.
- Able to use jigs and fixtures to mark parts for trimming and/or machining.
- Document all non-conformities on a Dimensional Inspection Report (DIR).
- Follow verbal and/or written procedures and/or approved documentation.
- Must keep a clean and organized work area.
- Follow and adhere to all housekeeping, health and safety standards.
- Proper care and daily maintenance of assigned/department tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs on a continual basis.
- Must support and adhere to all Lean and 5s initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to use a multiple of hand tools - pneumatic, electric, and manual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- involves handling heavy loads (min of 25 lbs.); lifting, push and pull.
- Manual dexterity and able to handle repetitive tasks.
