**Grinder/Trimmer**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Cut surface of a fiberglass part evenly & squarely.
- Sand or grind to a uniform thickness.
- Follow verbal procedure on techniques and/or tools to be assigned when finishing a part.
- Trim, drill, and use router, sand, and grind fiberglass parts and/or surfaces.
- Use jigs and fixtures to mark parts for trimming and/or machining.
- Support and adheres to all Lean and 5s initiatives.
- Daily maintenance of assigned/department tools and equipment.
- Reads blueprints and be able to finish a part to the specifications shown on the print.
- Documents all non-conformities on a Corrective & Preventative Action report (CAPAR).
- Perform other duties as required.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Prior experience in composite manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with hand tools (pneumatic, electric, manual)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with mínimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
