**Company Introduction**

With expertise in cellular signaling, molecular biology, and biochemistry, SignalChem has developed over 4,000 functional recombinant protein products, establishing itself as a key player in the global market for active recombinant signaling enzymes. Recently acquired by Sino Biological, a world-renowned reagent supplier and contract research organization listed on ChiNext of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (301047 Sino Biological Inc.). The company’s core technology platform is its in-house developed mammalian cell-based recombinant expression system, which utilizes proprietary reagents and processes for highly efficient production of antigens and antibodies. SignalChem is now expanding its capabilities and creating multiple new positions.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, conduct, and develop biochemical and/or cell-based assays required for bioreagent functional validation, compound screening, or biomarker detection
- Report, interpret, and troubleshoot assay outcomes, propose and execute strategies for assay optimization and improvement
- Analyze assay data sets, generate data plots and finalize full assay protocol for product release
- Work with production and QA/QC team, improve product design and related processes and procedures and troubleshoot technical issues
- Work with internal/external partners, analyze and evaluate potential custom/collaborative projects involving assay development, prepare proposals and technical reports on project progression
- Work with internal partners on assay-related material procurement
- Assist in the training/coaching of new team members
- Conduct all activities in accordance with the company's safety guidelines and policies.
- Stay current with literature and technological advances in assay development.
- Report to the lead of the Assay Development team

**Requirements**:

- MSc/PhD in biochemistry, chemical biology, pharmaceutical sciences, experimental medicine, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in assay development, optimization, and validation.
- Technical competency in performing biochemical assays, immunoassays, cell-based assays, and advanced data analysis
- Knowledge of various assay technologies such as luminescence, fluorescence, spectrophotometry, and concepts of enzymology.
- Knowledge of protein expression and purification
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical findings and proposals, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently as a problem-solver and collaboratively within a team setting
- Skilled in setting and managing priorities, planning, and meeting deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated

**Preferred Skills**
- Familiarity with statistical software for data analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality control in assay development.
- Experience with automated liquid handling systems and high-throughput screening platforms.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
