We are looking for an individual with a background in Surface Chemistry to join our team as a Research Scientist.

In this position, you will work in an interdisciplinary team to develop microfluidic devices for clinical diagnostics. Duties can include:

- Surface modification of plastic, glass or other materials for conjugation of desired species
- Modification of surface hydrophobicity
- Identifying optimal conditions for biomolecule conjugation/attachment
- Designing surfaces for specific capture of target analyte
- Qualification requirements:_
- Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or equivalent.
- Experiences with liquid-solid surface modification required
- Experiences with plastic surface modification preferred
- Familiarity with biological diagnostic assays is an asset
- Knowledge of nucleic acid based detection is an asset

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year depending on experience
