**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an extroverted, motivated, and customer-oriented **Retail Sales Associate** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that each customer receives excellent service and attention. You will greet and assist customers who walk into the store, providing them with detailed product information and helping them make informed purchasing decisions. In addition to assisting walk-in customers, you will also manage phone inquiries, schedule deliveries, and handle transactions at the cash register.

The role involves maintaining the overall appearance of the store, organizing products, and ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed. You will also be responsible for processing incoming shipments and organizing the warehouse as needed. A key part of this role is achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the store’s sales. We are looking for someone who is driven to meet these targets and who is proactive in identifying ways to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with inquiries regarding products, pricing, and promotions
- Be knowledgeable about store policies, events, and product availability
- Provide solutions and advice to customers based on their home renovation needs
- Handle incoming phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Process daily shipments, ensure merchandise is received, and organize the warehouse area
- Maintain product displays, ensuring merchandise presentation standards are met
- Process sales transactions, exchanges, and refunds while following company guidelines
- Assist in inventory management and perform physical tasks such as stocking products (must be able lift 50-70 lbs)
- Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and maintain store standards

**Requirements**:

- Must be Fluent in English with strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
- Ability to lift and carry 50-70 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Prior experience in retail or sales is an asset but not required
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a willingness to learn

- Hourly range: $17.20 - $18.20 per hour*_
