**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products to optimize sales.
- Handle cashiering duties, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to financial protocols.
- Engage in recruiting, interviewing, and employee orientation processes to build a strong team.
- Implement effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and revenue.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular assessments of store performance metrics, including retail math calculations for budgeting purposes.
- Collaborate with the management team on pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager is essential.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, payroll processes, bookkeeping practices, and administrative tasks.
- Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers.
- Proficient in time management, organizational skills, and leadership abilities to manage shifts effectively.
