We're looking for an Operations Manager to help build and run our core operational functions. At Browse AI (trusted by 600,000+ users), we need someone who can implement and maintain efficient systems and processes that will help our team of 21 people operate more effectively and scale.
As Operations Manager, you'll have ownership over key operational processes and systems. This is an opportunity to shape how Browse AI runs day-to-day while building scalable foundations for our future growth. You'll report directly to our Founder/CEO, Ardy
**What we're looking for**:
- 4+ years of operations experience at a startup company (early stage preferred)
- You have experience managing operational functions and processes in companies of 20 to 50 people.
- You have a strong background in financial operations and people operations.
- You have a track record of building and implementing systems, where there was no system before You've maintained those systems and been responsible for communicating them to leadership.
- You can manage a lot of different things at once.
- You have project management experience, have documented company processes, and you’re great with spreadsheets and basic formulas

- When building out a solution you think about efficiency and scale. You get excited about leveraging AI, and tech to improve our efficiency as an org.
**Here's what you'll own at Browse AI**:
In this role you'll wear many hats You will oversee our people, financial and strategic operations.
**People operations**:
- Employee engagement initiatives (running the all hands meeting, organizing events, team training).
- Support hiring and recruitment processes.
- Manage benefits administration.
- Coordinate employee performance review processes.
- Support professional development programs.
- Encourage employees to be informed on things like employee benefits, and be their go-to person for all HR-related questions.
- Implement software tools to streamline HR processes and reporting.
**Financial operations**:
- Oversee payroll systems.
- Manage receivables (collections, government grants).
- Handle payables (reimbursements, expenses, vendor management).
- Maintain a vacation tracking system.
- Serve as the main point of contact for our bookkeeping and tax partner, resolving all inquiries thoroughly.
- Grant writing & reporting: proactively seeking new grants, ensuring compliance, and preparing status reports.
**Strategic operations**:
- Help manage our company OKR process.
- Assist with cross-functional projects.
- Provide analysis and reporting as needed.
- Identify and implement modern software/AI solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Investor Relations - preparing presentation materials, helping coordinate investor updates, and managing the data room for fundraising or due diligence.
- Calendar and travel management - supporting the CEO in scheduling, inbox triage, and travel logistics.
**Legal and risk operations**:
- Basic legal oversight: Managing NDAs, vendor contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., data privacy, labor laws).
- Risk management & insurance: Overseeing business insurance coverage and risk assessments (liability, cyber, etc.).
- Coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
- Systems/tools ownership: Handling basic oversight of the company's software stack (ensuring collaboration tools, password management, etc., are running smoothly
