**DUTY MANAGER**

Neptune Theatre is seeking professional and ambitious Duty Managers to oversee front of house operations during performances and events. In this role, you will act as the manager on duty, motivating the front of house team to meet targets and performance goals, ensuring efficient and timely operations, and providing excellent customer service while resolving patron concerns. You will be responsible for accurately managing sales data and bar reports, as well as performing other tasks assigned by the Guest Services Manager or Assistant Front of House Manager.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Act as the manager on duty during productions and events, overseeing all front of house

operations.
- Ensure that productions and events run smoothly and on schedule.
- Train and manage all front of house staff, maintaining high standards of service and

performance.
- Address customer service issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the safety and security of patrons at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, Fire Safety standards, and Liquor

Control regulations.
- Report any customer service concerns and maintenance issues as they arise.
- Accurately enter sales data, balance bar reports, and prepare bank deposits.
- Contribute to the physical security of all entrances, rooms, and public spaces during and

after events.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Exceptional tact and diplomacy in addressing internal and external concerns.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate staff to perform at their best
- A receptive attitude in collaborating with Front of House Management to optimize and

improve front of house operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate management and reporting of front of house sales data
- Previous experience in front of house management is an asset

**JOB DETAILS**

Part-time casual contracts are available for Neptune Theatre’s 2024/2025 season, effective to September 1st, 2025. Work hours will vary based on Neptune Theatre’s performance and events schedule, with a focus on evening and weekend shifts.

**PAY**

This position offers an hourly rate of $19.00, paid biweekly.
