OPM has an incredible opportunity for an **Administrative Assistant/** **Receptionist **to join our team in our South Surrey, BC office. This role is ideal for someone with an outgoing personality, who is a motivated self-starter who strives to exceed expectations and is a team player.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Greet visitors/clients, receive and direct phone calls
- Maintain and update company contact list
- Arrange freight shipping and prepare customs documents
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
- Coordinate courier pick-up and distribution of courier packages
- Ensure that daily mail is taken to post office or mail box
- General maintenance of office areas, maintain and order office supplies
- Photocopying, scanning, data entry, and filing
- Additional duties and projects as assigned

**Qualifications & Skills Required**:

- At least two to three (2-3) years of previous experience in an administrative role working in a fast-paced environment
- Certificate or diploma in Administration or a related field is an asset
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, & Excel)
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal & communicational (written & verbal) skills
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision & in a team environment
- Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset
