Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Telesales Specialist to work in our Mississauga, Ontario location. As our Telesales Specialist for Mettler Toledo, you will be responsible for generating and closing new sales leads through a variety of sources primarily but not limited to outbound phone sales campaigns and inbound customer requests made both online and through the phone, for our Laboratory division. You will also offer, technical advice and solutions to enquiring customers, manage the sales needs of small to medium accounts.
This will be an assignment for a fixed term agreement covering a leave of absence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute outbound telesales campaigns, manage assigned leads and opportunities and employ professional selling skills in their sales pursuit
- Manage customer relationships while recording data generated from these efforts in the customer relations management system (CRM).
- Actively create new sales leads and enter both internal and external leads
- Qualify Sales leads by assessing need, budget, and buying authority
- Assist manager and senior management by providing weekly updates about recurring business issues or trends that suggest alternate sales offers or approaches
- Accurately and quickly promote/quote products, services, and solutions to small and medium accounts
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in science preferably Chemistry/Biochemistry, combined with two to three years of Laboratory experience particularly with Analytical instruments such as Titrators.
- Two to three years of sales/customer service experience in a scientific industry is preferred
- Outbound call center and Telesales skills are desirable
- Ability to speak French is an asset
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

- $50000 - $55000 per year plus commissions
