**Position Summary**:
You will be responsible for managing the rental fleet and inventory. The expectation is that you will grow this new business and develop a strong internal relationship with our 6 dealerships and three body shops.

In your position as a Rental Car General Manager, you also have the opportunity for further management growth within the Crown Auto Group.

**Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Oversee all personnel and operational functions related to the rental car business unit and drive them to excellence in what they do.
- Drive operational excellence by continually monitoring, evaluating and improving upon operations and key performance indicators as necessary
- Build lasting relationships with customers, staff, manufacturer representatives and stakeholders based on trust, integrity, and respect
- Represent the company at charitable, manufacturer and external events
- Responsible for acquiring vehicles for rental fleet
- Responsible for all outstanding receivables and payables
- Handle all maintenance and claims related to the rental fleet
- Work with the executive team for all group goals

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Degree in Business Administration, commerce, management considered an asset
- 3-5 years' experience supervisory/management experience
- Car rental management experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Knowledge of business management, financial and accounting principles and practices
