Social Media Marketer

**About the Role**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and passionate **Social Media Marketing** person to help us in making it easy for people to transition and succeed in the tech industry.

**Role Description**

We’re looking for a full-time **Social Media Marketing** person to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will work very closely and directly with one of the Founders of the company.

Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

- Creating, posting and managing social media posts across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and more
- Creating unique graphics, videos and copy via tools like Canva, Photoshop, specific social media tools, Kapwing, Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro, and similar
- Brainstorming and updating content for a weekly social media calendar
- Tracking performance of social efforts and developing necessary reports to improve post performance
- Developing meaningful social marketing campaigns and strategies by working closely with internal stakeholders
- Developing and writing long-form blog content using Google Docs and Webflow
- Break down existing content into shareable bites for both company and individual distribution
- Organize, plan and execute fresh content ideas for the social media calendar on Trello and Buffer
- Develop a process for reviewing and tracking performance of social media efforts
- Come up with and execute unique multi-stakeholder projects related to social media marketing and beyond
- Start building long-term relationships and partnerships with similar companies and communities in the space
- Audit existing marketing workflows and suggest concrete, actionable improvements to increase effectiveness and collaboration
- Propose, read, and share notes on key marketing books and/or courses with the rest of the company

It is absolutely not a problem if these objectives are not currently things you are capable of. With the help of one of the Founders, you will create a plan that allows you to meet or exceed these goals within the 6 months. We will provide guidance and training - you need to bring the initiative to learn and independently problem-solve.

6. 6-month paid contract with assessments and feedback provided regularly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
