**Holiday Inn Elk Lake **is searching for a Maintenance worker to assist with maintenance issues and services during the weekend. Scheduled shifts would consist of 8 hours a day, including weekends, additional shifts might be available during busier need periods or to cover holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- To identify, act and follow up on maintenance deficiencies and opportunities with the Maintenance Department.
- Performs preventative maintenance duties in accordance with department schedules and guidelines.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards.
- Provide a high standard of customer service by communicating with guests and helping them with any needs they have.
- Upholds the core values of the Holiday Inn Elk Lake.

Duties and Essential Job Functions
- To ensure that the hotel’s public areas and Guest Rooms are exceptionally maintained.
- Must have experience with painting, some minor plumbing repairs, be willing to take Pool Certification, and basic maintenance and repair knowledge
- Look at the public areas through the eyes of the guest and using attention to detail meet or exceed the required standards
- Schedule and complete routine cleaning of carpets in all public areas
- Clean pool area daily
- Empty all refuse containers and adhere to all recycling policies
- Spot clean any walls, trim, moldings, door frames as required
- Complete daily preventative maintenance inspections and fix any minor deficiencies, communicate major deficiencies to Maintenance department.
- Repair plumbing fixtures, cleaning out drains, guest room door locks, along with many other maintenance duties.

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
