Bring your maintenance experience to Hotel Grand Pacific We’re looking for a dependable individual to join the team that helps us provide first-class facilities for our guests. An independent property, we are proudly affiliated with Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

This is a full-time position. Shifts will vary between the hours of 7am-3:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, and 2:30pm-11pm.

**Duties**:

- Maintain the Hotel’s presentation and operations in guest rooms, public areas, building exterior, grounds and back of house.
- Operate & maintain hotel machines, i.e.: exhaust fans, air handling unit, boilers, pump, drytron, AHU & cooling towers.
- Perform biweekly cleaning of the pool and jacuzzi
- Minimize guest inconveniences by responding to requests in a timely manner
- Follow established checklists and use the logbook to track daily requests
- Adhere to established health & safety policies and procedures at all times

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 2 years of maintenance experience in a hotel or similar service environment
- Pool operator experience - Pool Level 1 Certificate preferred
- Knowledge of automated building systems, card key locks, HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Positive and effective communication skills
- Adaptable with a high level of initiative
- Open to feedback and willing to develop skills
- WHMIS training preferred
- Available to work varied shifts and more than 30 hours per week
