Louis W Bray Construction is seeking a **Yard and Shop Worke**r to join our winning team and support the completion of Heavy Civil Construction projects throughout the Ottawa area.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To promote safety, quality and reliability in all activities conducted by the construction team.
- Operate forklifts and other construction equipment.
- Load and unload floats and trailers,
- Pick up and deliver material tools and equipment to various job sites and vendors.
- Maintain Lifting devices and shop tools.
- Keep yard and Shop clean and organized.
- Assist with Equipment Repairs as needed.
- All other related duties as required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Physically demanding work, so the ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
- Practical knowledge of construction equipment's function, operation, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience operating a Telehandler and Forklift
- Experience towing trailers and know how to secure loads properly.
- Experience operating a 3-ton flatbed truck.
- Forklift Operator certification (preferred)
- Multitasking and problem solving is a must.
