Louis W Bray is looking for a Shop Supervisor to oversee the care, maintenance, and repair of Bray’s assets at our Vars Location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the repair and maintenance of all equipment and internal maintenance activities at the shop or on job sites
- Supervise Mechanics and set schedules for service and repair work.
- Manage HVAC and electrical systems by inspecting building issues and coordinating with contractors for emergency repairs and maintenance.
- Track Tools and Sea Cans and prepare monthly Sea Can lists and tracked tool locations
- Set up asset and PM program, include pictures and complete asset purchase form for all tracked asset purchases regardless of who is purchasing. Label unit with LWB# and Bray Stickers.
- Create and maintain an inventory of non “Asset” high value and commonly used items.
- Create and maintain a “store” for consumables and future expansion to construction materials.
- Monitor site rentals weekly vs Bray equipment.
- Keep up to date on tool/equipment purchase and rental costs and provide suggestions on purchasing rather than renting certain tools and equipment based on project needs.
- Be a resource to purchasers with quotes and sourcing all types of tools and equipment.
- Create work requests/orders from projects and adjust priorities based on the needs of business
- Track critical work orders and at-fault repairs.
- Set targets for planned work, projects, and Service calls, as well as make a list of work order backlog available to the Bray Team.
- Purchase and install GPS units for all approved assets. Set up notifications for each job. Verify that the information is correct on a weekly basis.
- Haulage/Shipping and Receiving
- Work with Police and other agencies to improve LWB theft prevention.
- Promote safety, quality and reliability in all activities conducted by the construction team.
- Assist with coordinating vendor support activities and other projects as needed.
- Assist with dispatching of vehicles and equipment as necessary, assist with all permits, licenses, and safety checks, as required by regulations.
- All other related duties and special projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in construction equipment maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Multitasking and problem-solving are a must.
- Computer proficiencies to include Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Experience in inventory practices
