**Job Summary**:
The Marketing Coordinator Intern will support critical functions on the Marketing and Retail Strategy teams at Bayview Flowers. This includes designing and developing marketing materials and sales flyers and coordinating various marketing activities to support the marketing team. The opportunity also involves leading the execution of specific in-store marketing promotions and in-store marketing display development and playing a key role in-field activities, such as auditing and merchandising.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop marketing & sales materials, including customer flyers and promotions
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, such as tradeshow planning, photoshoots, or other related marketing department activities
- Lead coordination of key customer activations, including promotions and in-store marketing activities, including design and key-messaging
- Communicate with 3rd party merchandising teams to provide clear, actionable direction
- Visit stores of key accounts to conduct audits of retail performance, merchandise if necessary
- Perform comp shops as required and provide insights to the sales & marketing teams
- Ideate opportunities for future promotions by collaborating with sales, marketing, and business analysis teams
- Support development and conceptualization of in-store POP (shopper marketing) materials for enhancing retail experience
- Evaluate omnichannel opportunities for key accounts
- Support G2M of plans for key accounts as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in a bachelor’s program or diploma program with a concentration on business, marketing, graphics design or other related field
- Keen attention to detail with a strong interest in flowers and plants
- Proficient in Adobe Suite functionalities
- Preferred but not required: access to a vehicle and a valid license
- Strong self-organization and communication skills
- A versatile and creative individual
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high personal standards to deliver high-quality results.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 4-8 months

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jordan Station, ON L0R 1S0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
