**Marketing & Public Relations - Full Time**

This role will report to the president of GP Brewing Co and will be responsible for marketing and public relations. The main objective of this position is to establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. This role will implement and steward key initiatives of GP Brewing Co marketing strategy as developed by the executive. This will include but not limited to public relations, media relations, event planning, social media strategy, public engagement, and marketing campaigns. This individual will be a proven leader with capability of driving a team of high performance.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Steward the production of all advertising mediums - print, radio, digital, signage, web-based, clothing, and promotional items.
- Facilitate content and design advertising campaigns
- Obtain monthly sales reports and work with sales department to understand the direction of sales within the brewery brand items.
- Assist in creating a sales strategy for the brewery in conjunction with senior executive.
- Facilitate the creation of standard operating procedures in the marking department.
- Best promotion of GP Brewing Co brand within the community to maintain a positive reputation and recognition
- Multifaceted campaigns including digital, social media marketing, PR and media, signage, video and radio
- Developing and delivering marketing and communication strategies for the organization to overall enhance the brand and facilitate the continued growth of GP Brewing Co.
- Create a yearly marketing budget to be approved by the GP Brewing Co Executive, including managing and overseeing the implementation of all aspects of the approved budget including the approval of all accounts payable as they relate to marketing.
- Undertaking continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends include development and researching opportunities to enhance and strength the GP Brewing Co brand.
- Oversee packaging design and implementation of new and current brands.
- Maintain and develop new and existing POS and sell sheet material for on premise, retail and DSD business partners.
- Develop and maintain a working brand guide for brand consistency and integrity.
- Manage all design staff.

**Tasks to Include**:

- Review sales state and projections
- Mange and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff activities.
- Expand and develop marketing platforms (signage, radio, and social media).
- Manage the productivity of marketing plans and projects and prepare presentations for marketing meetings.
- Gather and analyze consumer feedback for internal discussion.
- Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing objectives.
- Order inventory associated marketing materials included but not limited to signage, easels, banners, vouchers, promotional wear, stickers etc.
- Review and update sales strategy with sales team (includes LTOs and EDLPs).
- Review and schedule promotional and sales events for (a) the month, (b) 3 months out.
- Review retail store merchandise sales numbers.
- Develop and report return investment for events campaigns.
- Research and document competitors.
- Analyze customer demographics and market trends with documentation.
- Participate in product education and pricing strategy.

- Must be a strategic thinker, team player and self-motivated individual who can offer proactive recommendations
- Organized and adaptable, with the ability manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects cohesively.
- Visual thinker who can provide design input for organizational collateral and social/digital platforms
- Proven working knowledge of branding, public relations, and advertising
- Experience executing integrated marketing plans, including facets such as brand positioning, advertising, media planning and promotional strategies
- Exceptionally strong research, writing, and editing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and public relation skills

**Requirements**:

- 18 years or older
- Fluent in English
- Valid Alberta drivers’ license
- Clean criminal record
- 3-5 years’ experience in marketing and/or public relations position
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media
- Proficient in
