**A DAY IN THE LIFE of our **Technical Manager (Animal Nutrition and Formulation)**

As a Technical Manager (Animal Nutrition and Formulation) at Trouw Nutrition, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of animal nutrition while leading a team of dedicated professionals. - ** Innovative Product Development**: Lead the development and marketing of new animal feed products by leveraging your expertise in consumer needs, nutritional requirements, raw materials, and technological opportunities. Collaborate with teams to ensure profitable and feasible product developments and innovations.
- ** Technical Excellence**: Translate research findings and practical experiences into our animal feed portfolio. Monitor feed formulations to maintain the highest quality and animal health standards. Take charge of the least cost formulation process for all species across the West region.
- ** Quality Control and Data Analysis**: Oversee quality control and interpret trial data to prepare comprehensive reports. Use your insights to develop new products that align with consumer needs and market opportunities.
- ** Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, technical advisors, procurement, and marketing teams, to achieve successful product reviews and developments.
- ** People Management**: Lead, train, and motivate your team of Nutritionists and Formulation Managers, ensuring they excel in meeting production schedules at optimal productivity and cost levels.

**PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA**

**Knowledge**
- BSc in Animal Nutrition with relevant practical experience.
- Solid knowledge of QA/QC, including CFIA requirements and HACCP management.

**Skills**
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities. Previous leadership experience and people management skills are a plus.
- Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities, motivate, and supervise others.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Team player with experience in working collaboratively.
