**JOB SUMMARY**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Accounts Payable Management**
- Review, verify, and process invoices for payments while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure accurate posting and verify proper expense coding.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries regarding payments.

**Departmental Billing Assistance**
- Collaborate with Legal Assistants to gather billing information and support accurate invoicing processes.
- Prepare monthly departmental billing, ensuring that all data is complete and accurate.

**Record-Keeping and Reporting**
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable status and billing activities for management review.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations related to accounts payable and billing.

**Compliance and Audit Support**
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies regarding accounts payable and billing.
- Support audit requests by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Education**:Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- **Experience**:2+ years of experience in accounts payable, billing, or a related accounting role.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- **Reports to**:Accounting Manager
- **Working Hours**: Monday - Friday, standard business hours, with occasional flexibility based on departmental needs.
- This position is not eligible to work remotely.
