Restaurant/bar Manager

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise daily bar operations, including staff management and scheduling
- Train and mentor bar staff in customer service, food handling, and beverage preparation
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas
- Develop creative drink menus and promote seasonal specials to enhance guest experience
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new bar staff
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or bar management roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Previous experience in a hotel or barista setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Pay: $15.96-$20.00 per hour
