**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Review financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and other documents to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage or Quickbooks to manage client accounts effectively.
- Conduct account reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
- Provide guidance on accounts payable processes and payroll management.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information for tax preparation.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage or Quickbooks.
- Strong understanding of financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and payroll processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction.

**Education**
- Post secondary diploma or degree in accounting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
