**Who we are**:
Welcome to the Qualicum Beach Cafe and adding to our fleet the (soon-to-be) Nanoose Bay Cafe. We provide a true west coast hospitality experience with an ocean view We are a growing company and excited to be in some of the most spectacular restaurant locations on Vancouver Island. We are an upscale casual restaurant that focuses on seafood. Our culinary team offers the highest quality ingredients with thoughtfully created menu items which guests keep coming back for

**The Role**:
We are looking for experienced culinary team members with strong work ethic and a great attitude to join our exciting team here at the Qualicum Beach Café If you have previous kitchen experience or are willing to learn and detail orientated, able to multi-task, we would love to have you on our team.

**What You’ll do**:

- Cooking and preparing dishes of the highest quality for our guests to enjoy
- Maintaining a clean, neat and presentable work station and appearance
- Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all food preparation and cooking equipment and procedures at all times for all stations
- Work quickly and efficiently to deliver consistent and delicious dishes
- Support all team members in every role both front of house and back of house
- Communicate between shifts and with culinary leaders and peers
- Other duties as assigned
- Possesses a warm and welcoming personality, is friendly and outgoing, demonstrating a positive attitude and energy at all times
- 1+ year of high-volume kitchen experience an asset
- Strong organization skills, able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Set an example for a respectful, collaborative team while demonstrating appropriate working behaviors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
