**Shop Coordinator**. This position requires an individual with sound leadership and the ability to motivate all employees in a selected area.

**Required**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude in a mechanical atmosphere such as automotive or heavy truck.
- Must be analytical, organized and capable of making sound decisions.
- Responsible for coordinating the activities of employees and promoting a safe workplace.
- Understand the scope of work and organize the workflow in the shop to effectively meet customer’s deadlines.
- Responsible for ensuring jobs are done safety, correctly and completed on time Assist with setups.
- Verify process times against planned times. Verify and sign off on all job sheets. Ensure a high level of quality control.
- Enforces in process checks and performs random inspections.
- Train and mentor employees to increase their skill level in all activities.
- On an ongoing basis, monitor employees performance, identify and resolve issues and concerns. Maintain communications between departments.
- Preference will be given to those who come from the fuel/petroleum industry.
- Perform other duties as needed and requested by manager.

**Work schedule**:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
