**DELIVERY CREW MEMBER JOB OVERVIEW**
As a truck loader at Harbour City Kitchens you are out in the community nearly 100% of the time, which means you are a key part of our customer service and marketing strategy. As such all of our delivery crew member you are expected to safely and accurately pick up and deliver our products in a timely and efficient manner. They must have great communication skills and be able to consistently interact in a positive and professional manner with our supplier partners and our customers.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Pick up, transport and deliver**
- Follow the best practices for safety while loading or unloading the truck
- Follow directions from shipping manager and delivery driver
- Proactively communicate with the shipping manager, dispatchers at our supplier partners, customers and installers to make deliveries
- Meet delivery deadlines
- Perform regular basic truck maintenance, including cleaning both the outside and inside of the truck
- Load and unload trucks
- Obtain signatures when needed
- Assist the Parts picker with delivery of service orders and ensuring all orders go out completed

Harbour City Kitchens does require all delivery crew to have a criminal record check completed

**Uphold Customer Service Standards**
- Wear and maintain a HCK uniform while at work
- Call ahead for deliveries and pickups
- Be respectful and sensitive to customer preferences and property

**QUALIFICATION**_**MUST**_**HAVE**:

- Physically able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Respectful & positive communication skills

**QUALIFICATION**_**NICE**_**TO HAVE**:

- BC Drivers License
- ForkLift certificate (considered an asset)
- First Aid level 2 certificate (considered an asset)

**COMPENSATION**:

- $21.00 $24.00/hr depending on experience

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
