**Job Overview**
We’re seeking a dedicated **Thai Head Chef** with **5+ years of experience** in Thai cuisine and kitchen leadership. You will oversee the kitchen’s daily operations, lead menu development, manage costs, mentor staff, and uphold the highest culinary and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and refine authentic and innovative Thai menus, reflecting both tradition and modern flair.
- Manage all kitchen operations: staffing, scheduling, supply ordering, inventory control, food costing, and budgeting.
- Lead, inspire, and train the kitchen team—fostering excellence in performance and teamwork.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols.
- Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen workflow, guest satisfaction, and business profitability.
- Monitor quality control, kitchen presentation, and plating consistency.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum **5 years** of professional experience as a head chef, sous chef, or senior chef with a strong focus on **Thai cuisine**.
- Proven leadership and management skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Deep knowledge of Thai cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Strong expertise in menu planning, cost controls, and inventory management.
- Excellent team-building, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., FoodSafe BC or equivalent); understanding of allergen management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $4,000.00-$4,500.00 per month
