Rockies playground, our mountain hideaway is just off the beaten path, between Revelstoke and Golden, and in summer plays host to adventurous travelers seeking a place to call home while they hike, bike, climb, dine, rest, or mark life with special occasions in our unspoilt alpine wilderness. In winter we are the home of Great Canadian Heli-Skiing, when again we have the privilege of delivering endless Best Day Evers to our guests and staff alike

As member of our Hospitality Team at Heather Mountain Lodge, working under the direction of our Operations Manager, you will be part of a respected Team, delivering not just amazing service to our guests, but creating lasting impressions, and building long term relationships with guests and staff alike.

**Job Description: Guest Services Agent**

**Responsibilities**
- A guest services agent at Heather Mountain Lodge can expect to focus on providing excellent customer service as well as helping to create an upscale atmosphere for guests. Guest services agents will also focus on providing an exemplary first impression of Heather Mountain Lodge and Great Canadian Heli-skiing to new and returning guests. Guest services agents will work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that guest requests are coordinated and fulfilled. Guest services agents will also be responsible for daily tasks that assist with the smooth operation of the lodge accommodation facilities and retail/front desk area.

**Accountabilities**

A guest services agent at Heather Mountain Lodge is accountable to/for front desk, and guest service and experience.

**Reports To**

A guest services agent reports directly to the **Operations Manager**.

**Daily Duties**

Daily duties may include the following:

- Generally provide excellent customer service
- Help in creating an upscale ambiance and atmosphere for guests
- Perform and complete check in/out procedures and paperwork with guests
- Collect payment from guests, both for their stay as well as for any retail sales
- Assist guests in the completion of paperwork and waivers
- Answer all questions relating to the guest’s experience
- Delegate requests from guests to the appropriate department and follow up on their completion
- Conduct daily tasks that assist with the smooth operation of the front desk and retail shop area, such as restocking and reorganizing the retail area, responding to radio calls and relaying messages to appropriate staff and/or managers
- Perform any other duties assigned by the direct manager

**Position Type**:
Summer Full Time with the opportunity for Year Round seasonal employment.

**Starting Wage**:$16 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Plus: Equal Share of Tip Pool

Plus: Full time subsidized accommodations (7 days a week) during regular operating seasons

Plus: 3 Meals per day (7 days a week) provided during regular operating seasons
