**Canada After School Group**is looking to hire Educational Assistant. You will play a key role in communicating with existing and new students, parents and teachers. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and hardworking individual with a team player attitude.

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Assisting with students and teachers to prepare lessons.
- Answering student questions regarding the tutoring center and courses
- Following up on overdue payments
- Becoming familiar with the courses yourself - you are not an instructor, but you must gain an understanding of course content in order to assist learners through the content
- Performing administrative duties, such as ordering materials, entering student data, generating reports, welcoming visitors, answering telephones, corresponding with various parties, monitoring student attendance, and handling student records
- Creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for learners

**Required skills and knowledge**:

- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
- proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of office administration procedures
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities at once
- High attention to detail
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Exceptional time management skills

To be considered, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

- Fluent in the English and Chinese language
- Willingness to learn new things
- Passion for education

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

Schedule:

- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 12:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturday day shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- sales experience is preferred
- education industry experience is preferred

Work Location: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
