As we look to enhance our internal communications and employee engagement, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Communications team as an Employee Experience Specialist.

Under the supervision of the Internal communications Director, the Employee Experience Specialist will play a pivotal role in spearheading the implementation and ongoing management of the Pomerleau intranet platform. The intranet serves as a critical tool to facilitate efficient communication, promote employee engagement, and create a seamless working experience for our team members across various locations, including both the office and worksites. Your expertise in intranet governance, content management, and user experience will be vital to ensure the platform's success and its ability to add value to our employees' daily lives.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Intranet Implementation**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Communication, to design and execute a comprehensive intranet implementation strategy. This involves understanding organizational needs, developing user personas, and planning the intranet's architecture and functionalities.
- ** Governance and Maintenance**: Establish and enforce intranet governance policies, ensuring compliance with best practices and data security standards. Monitor and maintain the platform to ensure optimal performance, troubleshoot issues, and integration of new tools.
- ** Content Management**: Oversee the organization and updating of intranet content, including news, announcements, resources, and documents. Develop a content calendar to ensure timely dissemination of information and collaborate with various departments to curate relevant and engaging content.
- ** User Experience Enhancement**: Continuously assess and improve the intranet's user experience by gathering feedback from employees, analyzing usage patterns, and implementing improvements accordingly. Explore opportunities to enhance functionality and usability to meet employee needs and preferences effectively.
- ** Training and Support**: Conduct training sessions and workshops for super users and employees to familiarize them with the intranet's features and functionalities. Provide ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing their inquiries and technical challenges promptly.
- ** Analytics and Reporting**: Utilize data analytics tools to track intranet usage, engagement, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on platform performance and present findings to the management team for insights and decision-making.
- ** Collaborative Initiatives**: Collaborate with the Communications team and other stakeholders to align the intranet with broader internal communication initiatives, campaigns, and events. Ensure that the platform serves as a central hub for information and fosters a sense of community among employees.

**What YOU Will Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience implementing and managing intranet platforms in a corporate environment or in a related field.
- Familiarity with intranet governance, content management, and user experience best practices.
- Proficiency in using content management systems and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decision-making and measure success.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proactive, innovative, and resourceful, with a passion for enhancing employee experiences.
- Change Management skills (asset)
