**Network & Security Analyst**

**How will you spend your day?**
- Timely response and Triage or Security Incidents.
- Work closely with other members of the IT Team to investigate all significant security incidents.
- Plan and design enterprise security architecture.
- Assist with the design, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting of all security tools and monitoring systems.
- Act as first point of contact for security escalations; Identify, investigate, remediate, or escalate as required.
- Participate in the creation of security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures) and support the planning and execution of the Information Security Program.
- Conduct security review and test new/modified systems and created master images.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve security operations processes.
- Conduct online threat research and stay up to date with emerging threats.
- Proactively hunt for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and IOCs.
- Support privacy and compliance requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for business units and internal IT staff to provide security guidance and champion best practices and user awareness.
- Work with third party firms for all vulnerability testing and assessments.
- Work with cloud native security tools to monitor both AWS and Azure tenants to ensure environments are secure.
- Detect deviations from security standards and collaborate with teams throughout the business to remediate issues that you identify.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure security measures and solutions are in place for Pipelines and Applications (DevSecOps).
- Focus on automation for security-related processes by setting up appropriate guardrails, controls, and auto-remediation rules.
- Conduct incident response investigations for all significant and near miss incidents
- Prepare and present monthly security reports, and perform trend analysis
- Maintain procedures described in our Secure Development Lifecycle to ensure compliance with various standards

**Network Team Responsibilities**
- As part of the network team, maintain the operations of network systems, all S2S connections and VPN’s
- Collaborate with the team on design, engineering, and execution of new and upgraded network solutions.
- Install and configure of system hardware/software as required.
- Identify and resolve operational and connectivity problems related to computer systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, administer, support all network infrastructure including virtual networks.
- Perform upgrades & testing for system/network hardware, software and third-party tools.
- Perform and confirm running backups of all network devices and appliances
- Maintain secure

- Interest in compliance and audit experience (PCI, SOC2, ISO, etc.)
- Experience with managing security and technology controls, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Experience working with management cloud services like AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config (or other cloud providers’ equivalents)

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in IT Operations Network and Security Support.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security fundamentals and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.
- CISM, CISSP Required
- CEH, GIAC, GCIH, GSEC and other security certifications considered assets
- Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP; Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, Fortinet NSE and/or other networking certifications
- Experience in configuration automation using scripting languages
- Knowledge of VMWARE, Windows, Active Directory and/or UNIX/Linux/Solaris
- Technical knowledge in Telecom Networks: MPLS, spanning tree, routers, layer 2/3 switches, WIFI, VoIP, firewalls and UTM
