**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of **Digital Media Coordinator **at our home office located at 10 Prairie Way, in Winnipeg. This position reports to the Director of Marketing **. **The **Digital Media Coordinator **adds value to our Co-operative by planning, developing, publishing and measuring social media content (text, visuals, photo, videos) across a variety of platforms and ensuring content aligns with the social media strategy and business goals.
Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:
- Work with the Director of Marketing to develop and execute a comprehensive and creative social media strategy that aligns with the company's brand identity and marketing objectives;
- Creation and delivery of social assets - including but not limited to stills, videos, gifs, reels, audio in line with social calendar and campaign timings;
- Create Facebook, Instagram and Google ads to targeted audiences;
- Schedule engaging content across various platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms;
- Write copy to accompany social media content, internal communications, website/app content and campaign materials;
- Collaborate with management to create timely, accurate and informative responses to inquiries or complaints that arise from social media and/or Google correspondence;
- Keep track of, coordinate and execute our gift certificate program;
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Two years of social media management, digital marketing management, marketing and communications generalist
- A degree or diploma in digital marketing or marketing is considered an asset
- Photography and videography are an asset. Must be comfortable both in front and behind the camera;
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle as you will need to travel to various locations. Your mileage will be reimbursed.
