Lakeview Church is looking for a strong leader to provide oversight for the Elementary Kids ministry of our church. This person is going to provide vision and point leadership for Kindergarten-Grade 5 and oversee the development and deployment of our team of Elementary Kids volunteers. This is a collaborative position that will serve alongside our Early-Childhood Kids Ministry Coordinator. This is part-time, 25 hours per week position. Salary to be negotiated.

**Minimum Education and Job Related Experience Requirements**
- High School Diploma.
- Experience leading a kids ministry, developing leaders and providing pastoral care.

**Preferred Education and Job Related Experience Achievements**
- Bible College degree or Bachelors of Education.
- Multiple years working full-time in kids ministry.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Elementary Program Planning**
- Develop creative, age appropriate program plans that promote spiritual, social, and emotional development.
- Prepare curriculum materials and delivery strategy.
- Schedule volunteers.
- Communicate program and curriculum logistics to volunteers.
- Prepare program space and materials.
- Collaborate with Daycare staff to maintain classrooms and equipment.

**Elementary Program Facilitation**
- Point leadership for Sunday programs.
- Oversight of volunteer teams.
- Encourage volunteers to engage with children relationally.
- Nurture relationships among children.
- Ensure age appropriate learning environments.
- Ensure all programming is in compliance with Plan to Protect.
- Support Family Formation Pastor with major events.

**Elementary Leader Development**
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
- Invest relationally in the lives of volunteers.
- Provide pastoral care and support to volunteers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
