Kids Pastor

Lakeview Church is looking for a strong leader to provide vision and oversight for the children’s ministry of our church. The Kids Pastor is responsible for the vision of Lakeview Kids, providing point leadership for all Kids ministries, and developing Kids volunteers. This is a full-time permanent position. Salary to be negotiated.

**Minimum Education and Job Related Experience Requirements**
- High School Diploma.
- Experience leading a kids ministry, developing leaders and providing pastoral care.

**Preferred Education and Job Related Experience Achievements**
- Bible College degree or Bachelors of Education.
- Multiple years working full-time in kids ministry.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Ministry Leadership**
- Establish a clear vision for Lakeview Kids.
- Establish strategies for achieving the Kids vision.
- Direct leadership for all Kids programming.

**Leader Development**
- Recruit, train, and supervise Kids volunteers.
- Invest relationally in the lives of volunteers.
- Provide pastoral care and support to volunteers.

**Program Planning**
- Develop creative, age appropriate program plans that promote spiritual, social, and emotional development.
- Prepare curriculum materials and delivery strategy.
- Schedule volunteers.
- Communicate program and curriculum logistics to volunteers.
- Prepare program space and materials.
- Collaborate with Daycare staff to maintain classrooms and equipment.

**Program Facilitation**
- Point leadership for Sunday programs.
- Oversight of volunteer teams.
- Encourage volunteers to engage with children relationally.
- Nurture relationships among children.
- Ensure age appropriate learning environments.
- Ensure all programming is in compliance with Plan to Protect.
- Support Family Formation Pastor with major events.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
