**Logistics Coordinator - Northcott Silk Inc.**
We are an international fabric converter seeking a full-time **Logistics Coordinator** with experience in importing and exporting goods across multiple countries. This role is a vital part of our operations team, handling all logístical needs and inquiries while fostering a collaborative work environment through improved communication and information flow.

**Responsibilities**
**Key duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Dispatching carriers, tracking, and tracing inbound and outbound international shipments.
- Preparing and managing computerized bills of lading, customs documents, courier documentation, and labels.
- Maintaining and updating databases and spreadsheets, creating detailed reports as required.
- Coordinating international customer order schedules and adhering to strict shipment and delivery timelines.
- Communicating with brokers, carriers, and customers to resolve discrepancies.
- Leading incident investigations and informing all relevant parties.
- Liaising with management, warehouse teams, and customer service to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Streamlining logistics processes to optimize efficiency.
- Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly reports to the Operations Managers and COO.
- Filing, sorting, and organizing key documents.

**Qualifications** - **Required skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics coordination.
- Strong English language skills (oral and written).
- Experience with FTL trucking, LTL trucking and freight brokers.
- Proficiency in customs documentation, including invoices.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

**Bonus skills**:

- Multilingual abilities.
- Knowledge of the NetSuite ERP system.
- CCLP (CITT) designation.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety procedures.
- CPR/First Aid training.
