As our first dedicated Marketing Strategist, you will be designing and implementing initiatives for both Sona Visual’s brand, and our clients. **What You Champion**
You will be responsible for strategic insight into various marketing channels, social platforms, trends, and growth tactics. You will work with our clients on implementing strategic marketing and social media plans and/or work with a team to implement them, for our clients. You will also adopt these principles for the growth of the Sona Visual brand, so we can walk the talk. There is definitely a strong focus on digital marketing and social media strategies and execution

You will be a liaison between our creative team and our clients when it comes to capturing rich media for their social channels, bridging the gap and helping ensure our quality and standards are met and maintained as a company. You will be involved from the very beginning of client interactions, and responsible for ensuring all things are done accurately, according to the strategic plan, and clients are seeing the results we promise them. You will oversee our marketing and social media service offerings and the processes we adopt to fulfill them.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Oversee account design and visual identity per client’s requirements
- Manage company interactions with the public and grow following counts using outbound tactics
- Analyze engagement data and compile reports
- Write compelling, informative copy with a solid knowledge of SEO, keyword search, and Google Analytics
- Manage and organize media assets, scheduling posts in various formats
- Generate ideas, edit, publish, and share engaging original content
- Manage and optimize our SEM campaigns on Google, Fb, Instagram, and other platforms as determined useful

**Project-Based Responsibilities**
- Resolve potential conflict resolution with clients in a kind and professional manner, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and the resolution is a win-win.
- Manage schedules, responsibilities, and processes within the social media rich-content delivery team
- Delegate responsibilities to the social coordination team (when applicable) and help set standards of work across the board.
- Tracking annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly goals. Ensuring that systems and processes are in place to track and report key metrics to the leadership team.
- Respond to queries and monitor customer reviews
- Liaising and coordinating with remote team members and ensuring systems are in place to provide reliability & contingency measures for all deliverables.
- Facilitating departmental meetings with great energy, ensuring the team stays on time, and all major points are addressed.

**Required Skills to Excel and Grow**
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding
- Strong proficiency in marketing automation (ie. Later (preferred), Hootsuite, Meta Business Manager, or similar)
- Highly proficient with Microsoft suite, and design software (ie. Adobe InDesign and Illustrator preferred) - Canva is a great tool, but you’ll need to customize content often
- 2+ years of experience in a similar marketing position with a strong focus on social media
- 2+ years of experience working with leadership teams to coordinate projects including budgets, timelines, and varying degrees of scope is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
