Position Summary:
TriQuest NDT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America to the Oil & Gas industry, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Power Generation, In-Service Piping, and Above Ground Storage Tanks.
We are currently seeking an **_API 510 Inspector with ABSA ISI_** to support our growing Fort McMurray operations. This is a full-time permanent rotational position (7/7) with direct flights out of Calgary and Edmonton.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standard 510.
- Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
- Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client.
- Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues.
- Fully comply with all TriQuest and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives.
***Requirements**:
- API 510 certification with ABSA ISI certification. Additional API certifications will be considered an asset.
- Reside locally to Edmonton or Calgary, AB area.
- Technical report writing skills.
- Strong work ethics.
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients.
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level.
- Valid driver's license.
