**Here’s Who You Are**:
This role is ideally suited to a high-energy up and coming Marketing professional who is passionate about food and is wired into what’s trending in the retail food-space across North America. The primary objective of this role is to use your strong communication and organizational skills to create highly effective presentations and marketing collateral to support our Sales team in the different channels we have distribution in. You will also be responsible for raising consumer awareness of our delicious products and you’ll do that by actively supporting a variety of initiatives including Advertising, Social Media, Promotional Activity, Events, and Public Relations. You’re a storyteller at heart and you generate interest and curiosity by taking insta-worthy pics of food, creating relevant reels, and blasting it out on social channels including Instagram and TikTok. You have a natural passion and curiosity about food and the food industry.

**SUMM Responsibilities**:

- Execute the marketing plan with measurable campaigns and promotional initiatives ensuring SUMM has a strong presence both online as well as in the market.
- Support the Sales team in developing, creating, and updating marketing materials such as trade and product collateral and ensure brand guidelines are met.
- Responsible for updating the SUMM corporate website and ensuring that information is consistent with our offerings and fresh material being added weekly.
- Work in conjunction with Agency to provide material for posting on IG/FB and other social media channels and ensuring that relevant marketing events are being identified and promoted.
- Contribute to social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
- Support all activities relating to advertising, public relations, social media, and events.
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing programs to determine effectiveness of campaigns and
- Coordinate efforts for key conferences and trade shows that SUMM will participate in.
- Analyze market data and consumer insights to determine areas of opportunity.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing activity.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.

**SUMM Requirements**:

- 1- 2 years experience in a marketing capacity (food space preferred)
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytics, SEO, and an aptitude for project management
- Must be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, In design, Illustrator, WordPress
