**Sales Development Representative**
**About the Role**
The introductory call will present a high-level view of the company to the prospect and then ask a series of questions - discovery - to identify the prospects needs, and whether Condo Control can help them solve those needs. The SDR captures the responses to the questions in our CRM platform.
If the prospect is a good fit, the SDR will schedule a presentation and/or demo for the Account Executives and the prospect. It's up to the Account Executive to deepen the relationship with the prospect and eventually get them to sign an agreement.
Once an SDR has proven themselves in the role they would be promoted to a Junior Account Executive, so if Sales isn’t your end game, this isn’t the role for you. This is an opportunity for you to learn from the bottom and work your way through a sales organization.
**About You**:
Outgoing AND A Good Listener: SDRs require the unique talent of being both being outgoing and conversational AND being able to know when to be quiet and listen and take detailed notes and understand what you hear. You can’t be afraid to ask questions on top of questions to really understand people’s motivations.
Technology Enthusiast: we sell software, we use software, its in everything that we do, so you need to be a fan of technology. From the way the way that we assign leads, to how we take notes, to how we measure success, everything uses technology and software. This means you need to be familiar with, and comfortable using software across multiple types of communication tools.
**Additionally, you are**:
- Super organized - dealing with many leads requires a methodical and organized person to keep on top of everything. We can’t stress this enough; organization is the only way an SDR can be successful.
- Have strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, remotely and maintain high productivity
- Self-motivated as you are responsible for reaching your goals
- Are comfortable in a high-volume, high-pressure, top-of-funnel role
- Ability to think outside the box.
**As a sales development representative, you will**:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns, inbound & outbound channels, and tradeshows
- High-volume prospecting cold leads and template leads
- Track activities and maintain relevant information using Salesforce CRM
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
- Determine the prospect's interest in Property Management Software
- Set up presentations and software demos between prospective clients and Account Executives
- Work alongside the Account Executives to identify opportunities
**Required qualifications**:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or another relevant field
- High level proficiency in English
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
- Interest in software and passionate about technology
**Desired qualifications**:
- Active listener, curious, autonomous, and you are ambitious
- 1+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR or similar high-volume sales role would be an asset
- Have shown they consistently achieve their performance-related goals (KPIs)
- Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset
**About Condo Control**
Condo Control is a Canadian company that provides an online communication and management software for condominiums, co-ops and HOAs. Condo Control provides a SaaS platform that helps property managers, board members, security and condo/HOA owners communicate quickly and easily. The system is straightforward and user-friendly, and Condo Control uses customer feedback to continuously improve and expand the services we offer. Our software addresses all aspects of condo/HAO living, from announcements to tracking of visitors, packages, bookings, payments, and more.
The role can be fully remote, or hybrid based. Our office is in downtown Toronto, and we support workers both remote and those who wish to come into the office.
**Benefits & Compensation**
Upon joining the team, you will receive a competitive salary and commission package; you will also be entitled to full medical and dental benefits and 3 weeks’ paid time off annually. You will also have an annual training and learning budget for professional development to ensure you are up-to-date with the latest industry specific trends and tools.
