We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our multi-property development team in Great Vancouver Canada, who shall be self-motivated, independent and teamwork, with strong communication skills, work ethic, and academic/professional background.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to do by self the quantity take-offs of all labor, equipment, and materials from drawings, specifications and project documents and identify missing information, review and analyze the outsource estimates and provide the diagnose reports;
- To work with the external quantity surveyor consultants, Cs and subcontractors and lead the communications with them to complete the final cost estimate;
- To work closely with the internal team including development, accounting and marketing to review and approve the estimates and tender packages from the developer's perspective;
- To attend the pre-contract value engineering and post-contract progress meetings, and review designs to identify the opportunities for cost savings;
- To manage the change orders procedures and be in charge of negotiations with the GCs and all subcontractors in all projects;
- To assist to prepare bid documents and document control by documenting, organizing, and archiving all information relating to the estimate;
- To assist Project Managers and the team running property developments in all matters.

**Requirements**:

- Holder of Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in relevant disciplines;
- At least 3-5 years of construction estimating, cost consulting or quantity surveying experience;
- Experience in estimating, preconstruction or project management of high-rise buildings;
- Professional backgrounds in QS consultants and developers are advantages;
- Fluency in the second language (Cantonese, Mandarin) preferred.
